Every year we go through the Eclipse Season twice. Each time we encounter a pair of eclipses, and each pair normally consists of one solar and one lunar eclipse. At the maximum there would be 2 to 3 Solar eclipses and 3 to 4 Lunar eclipses every year, most would be Partial and very rarely eclipses happen to be Total.
Eclipses are Full Moons and New Moons of high power and energy. According to astrology, New Moons indicate fresh starts and Full Moons point to endings. Eclipses are said to have the power of about ten or so full Moon or New Moon as the case may be. Hence Eclipses are said to be very potent.
Our ancestors believed that Eclipses held a bad omen and it brought terror over them. They associated eclipses with natural catastrophic events around them. It is said that eclipses have the power to hold sway for about 6 months or so, hence anything you do during a Solar Eclipse or Lunar Eclipse ought be carefully planned and done as it would have some serious consequences for the ensuing months.
